PRIVACY NOTES

Know what
makes the trip.

An upload is a real transmission to this server. Not retaining a file is different from never receiving it.

Uploaded content

The server reads uploaded bytes in small chunks and discards them. It does not save an uploaded file, retain a copy in a database, or create a persistent upload record. This applies to successful, cancelled, and interrupted uploads.

Because the data is not kept, it cannot be recovered or shared from this service after the transfer. Your original file on your device is not changed.

Filenames and the page

Your browser displays the selected filename and file size locally. The upload request contains only the file bytes; this page does not send the filename or a multipart file description.

Selection and progress disappear when you reload or leave the page. Parcel Desk does not use cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising scripts, or third-party fonts.

Connection information

Like other websites, the server and the network handling a request can see connection information. Infrastructure or error logs may contain an address, request route, time, or response status. These are separate from uploaded content.

No claim of anonymity or end-to-end encryption is made. When this website is served over HTTPS, transport encryption protects the connection to the server; it does not prevent the server from receiving uploaded bytes.

Sample downloads

Public samples are generated test data. They do not contain visitors' uploads. Downloading one does not create an account or a file record on this website.

For a connection check, use a file that does not contain private information. You do not need to send a personal document to test a transfer.

See How it works for cancellation, retry, and download details.
